Have you tried using the law of attraction to win the lottery only to have those pesky losing lottery tickets mock you? Well, as it turns out, you may be going about it all wrong.
I’m going to share with you the most overlooked step when it comes to manifesting reality using the law of attraction and exactly how you can implement its power.
In order to do that though, I’m going to have to take some of the mystery out of it and replace it with logic. Though all of your desires are rooted in emotion, the universe itself is actually mental so the creation of your desired reality requires a logical process.
How the Law of Attraction Really Works
Your subconscious mind is designed to take your predominate conscious thoughts (or beliefs) and create a reality based on them.
It does so by causing you to do things (subconsciously) that will bring about what you pretty much expect. These expectations come from your beliefs.
Your subconscious mind will also cause you to observe more of that which is in alignment with your expectations and overlook or dismiss that which is not.
Because the universe is mental, the collective subconscious (the subconscious of a group) plays a role in orchestrating this as well so that your interactions with others, etc. fall into place with perfect timing.
This is the law of attraction in a nutshell. It has a logical order yet its orchestration goes a great deal beyond just you.
The Limitations of This Process
Because thoughts are largely based on observation, most of your beliefs come from that which you observe. However, they can also come from that which others you trust have shared with you or the beliefs of the collective conscious.
The collective consciousness is basically just the consensus shared by a group and most of its beliefs are based on observation as well.
Minor League Manifestation
Upon discovering the law of attraction, you became very excited because you observed testimonial to its authenticity which seemed quite compelling.
But no matter how hard you tried, your belief system (already in place) did not allow you to just conjure up a mansion with a garage full of Ferraris. You simply don’t believe that’s possible.
Though most thoughts are derived from observation, they can be intentional. You probably tried being intentional with thought when attempting to use the law of attraction to get what you want.
The reason that it may have worked for a cup of coffee or a parking spot but not for quit-your-job-today kind of money is that what you see as smaller manifestations are far more believable.
When using the law of attraction, you have to work within the confines of your beliefs because your subconscious will not manifest anything outside your belief system.
This means unless you only want good parking spots in your life, you’re going to have to work on expanding your beliefs.
There is a Shortcut
Some gurus in the law of attraction circles tell you to focus on that which you want and just have faith that it will show up. Usually, this is where most people give up because as I’ve explained, your belief system doesn’t just change like that.
You can change your beliefs incrementally by offering your mind intentional thoughts over and over again that are just believable enough that they can become a part of your belief system. This is a very useful tool for manifesting things like your overall emotional state.
But the easiest way to expand your beliefs more drastically and quickly is to present proof to your mind by way of observation.
Observational thoughts in alignment with your desired reality are far more powerful than trying to conjure up incremental, believable, daily affirmations.
Believe it or Not
The best way to create observational thinking in harmony with your desired reality is to do what you have observed others who have already been successful at it do. That way, since you are using the same process they used, you know it’s possible to yield the same results.
For example, if your desire is to become a brilliant chef, you find a chef you believe to be brilliant, and do what he does. When we believe someone to be brilliant, they are in great alignment with who we are.
When it comes to winning lotteries, there’s no one more brilliant than Richard Lustig. Richard Lustig won 7 lottery Jackpots! That’s so unbelievable for most people that he was on the T.V. show, Ripley’s Believe it or Not.
Want more observation to expand your belief system? He was also on 20/20, Good Morning America, and other shows.
He Believed in Numbers
You see, he believed that any system using numbers could be hacked. So he created a formula based on each state’s lottery.
Are you beginning to see the importance of belief? When you believe something is possible, it is. Even if there are tremendous odds against it.
The odds against someone winning 7 lottery jackpot prizes are astounding yet Richard Lustig did it.
His belief was based on a faith in the logic of numbers because that was his passion. You, however, don’t have to have a passionate belief in numbers. You just have to create the belief that winning the lottery is possible and that you are worthy of winning.
What’s Holding You Back?
Using numbers selected by Richard Lustig’s formula is a way to help bridge the belief gap that is preventing you from using the law of attraction to win the lottery.
Of course, there is no way to guarantee you will ever be able to believe it’s possible to win the lottery just as there is no guarantee you will ever win. The negative beliefs that hold you back may not even allow you to believe in a 7-time winner’s system.
But if you can let go of your cynical, critical thoughts and focus on following in the footsteps of a man who accomplished (multiple times) the same thing you are trying to accomplish, you may create a new belief powerful enough to be a winner.
And this isn’t just applicable to the lottery. If you don’t believe something you want to manifest using the law of attraction is possible, find a way to wrap your head around it.
Your subconscious is an extremely powerful tool if you know how to use it. I just gave you a blueprint of how it works. Trust in it, after all, it guided you here.
